Important Announcement: Name Change

We are pleased to announce that Trustees have resolved to change the name of Trusthouse Charitable Foundation to Forte Charitable Foundation. This change marks an important moment as we seek to honour the legacy of our founder, Lord Charles Forte and prepare to celebrate the 30th anniversary of our founding. 

The new name pays tribute to Lord Forte, who built Trusthouse Forte plc into one of the UK’s leading hospitality businesses, and whose vision and values continue to shape our charitable work today.

While our name is changing, our mission and commitment to supporting communities across the UK remains exactly the same. We will slowly phase in the new name on our website and public documents over the next several months.

We look forward to continuing our work as Forte Charitable Foundation with dedication and impact.

The Trustees are delighted to announce that at their April Grants Committee meeting, they awarded a total of £532,747  Major Grants to 7 organisations across the UK.

Small Grants

In between meetings, £87,979 was awarded to 9 organisations from January to April.
