Safe and Sound Dorset  works out of Boscombe Central and exists to support vulnerable women through weekly street outreach and creative community sessions.  The charity sign posts women to recovery courses, domestic violence support groups, housing, trauma and sexual abuse support. They provide 1-1 support for appointments to doctors, hospital, court and prison. Safe and Sound Dorset also undertake late night weekly outreach to women on the streets, meeting women at their most vulnerable, often homeless, sofa surfing, working or begging.  The charity offers practical support with housing and health matters. They invite women to sessions at the Centre and to a weekly cafe housing group which is supported by Shelter.  They support up to 150 women, every year, with multiple complex issues. A Small Grant of £8,000 was awarded for the charity's running costs.
