The Recruitment Junction was founded in 2020 as the only social recruitment agency in Northumberland/Tyne & Wear focussing solely on placing people with convictions into paid work. Everything they do is in-person, trauma-informed, bespoke to the individual and typically both in-depth and lengthy. Their pre-employment phase support lasts between 1 – 6 months, and their in-work support continues for 6 months. Since their inception, The Recruitment Junction has placed just over 500 people into work. Gaining paid employment is known to be a major factor in reducing re-offending, and their placed candidates’ re-offending rate is just 1.6%.
